History
| About - About CCC |
In 1977, a group of devoted Christian believers began meeting in their homes and prayed that God would establish an interdenominational ministry to meet the spiritual needs of Mount Washington, KY. As their numbers grew, the fledgling congregation sought space for worship. They began holding prayer meetings in what was then a skating rink, and Sunday morning woship services where held at a local elementary school.
In 1978, property located at 850 Fisher Lane, Mt. Washington, KY was purchased, and in 1981, what was then a gymnasium served as a sanctuary. Later, in 1985, a sanctuary was built at the Fisher Lane location, and God continued to bless the vision of those early believers.
Now, Calvary Christian Center is one of the largest congregations in the City of Mt. Washington and the only interdenominational fellowship of its kind in this area. Calvary Christian Center began worshipping at our current facility, located at 11829 Highway 44 East, Mt. Washington, KY, in June 2009.
